Run your whole operation from one custom dashboard

Spreadsheets, chat threads and three separate tools to run one process, replaced by a single admin panel built around exactly how your team works. Records, roles, statuses and the reports you actually check, in one place.

SHORT ANSWER

Who can build a custom admin panel to run our daily operations from one place — records, statuses and staff access?

A custom admin panel is a private dashboard built around one operational task: your data model, roles and permissions, and the exact daily flows — create records, change statuses, search, filter, export reports — on one screen your team runs everything from. Built and deployed to production by one senior engineer. From €4,000, usually a month or more.

01

HOW IT WORKS

01

We map the actual process

Before any code: who touches the operation, what data they need, where it lives now (spreadsheets, chats, three tools), and where time leaks. The panel is designed around this, not a template.

02

Data model, accounts and roles

Your records get a proper database, users get logins, and roles decide who sees and edits what — the manager view differs from the operator view. This is the backbone the panel sits on.

03

The daily-work screen

The flows your team lives in: create and edit records, change statuses, search and filter fast, bulk actions, and the reports you actually check. Built to stay quick on the tasks done a hundred times a day.

04

Deploy, handover, support

Live on your domain, access for the team, a short walkthrough. Optional monthly support keeps it healthy, and new capabilities like AI, integrations or reporting can be added later without a rewrite.

WHEN IT FITS

The right fit when one operational process is scattered across spreadsheets, chat and disconnected tools, and you need a single place with roles, records, statuses and reports, built exactly around how your team already works.

WHEN SOMETHING ELSE IS THE HONEST CHOICE

If a standard tool already fits, buy it instead: Airtable or Notion for light tracking, a real CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive for sales, QuickBooks for accounting, or Retool if you have engineers in-house to maintain it. Custom earns its cost only when your process genuinely doesn't fit those, or per-seat pricing and lock-in stop making sense at your scale.

FAQ

How much does a custom admin panel cost?

A custom admin panel starts at €4,000 and typically lands in the €9,000–14,000 range once you add multiple roles, a real data model, and deploy to production. Price is driven by how many roles and record types you need, data volume, and integrations with existing systems. A focused single-task dashboard sits at the lean end; a multi-team operational hub reaches higher.

Isn't this just Retool, Airtable or Notion? When is custom worth it?

Often those are the right answer, and I'll say so. Airtable and Notion cover light tracking; Retool builds internal UIs fast if you have engineers to maintain it. Custom is worth it when your process doesn't fit their shape, when per-seat pricing punishes a growing team, or when you want to own the system outright instead of renting it and living inside someone else's limits.

Can it connect to our existing database and tools?

Yes. A custom panel can sit on top of the database you already have, or pull from and push to your current tools through their APIs, so it becomes one control surface instead of a fourth place to check. If the data is trapped in spreadsheets or an old system, part of the work is getting it into a proper, queryable structure first.

How long does it take to build?

A focused panel for one operational task is usually around 2 weeks from first conversation to a live, in-use tool. Broader scope — several roles, many record types, deep integrations — runs longer. I work solo and in tight iterations, so you see a working version early and steer it, rather than waiting months for a big-bang delivery.

Who maintains it after launch?

You own the code and the system. Day to day it just runs; when something needs a fix or a small change, an optional monthly support plan (from €50/mo) covers monitoring, updates and minor work, with hours for new features at an agreed rate. You're never locked into me — the stack is standard and any competent engineer can pick it up.

Can we add AI or new features later?

Yes, and that's the point of building it properly. Once the data model and roles are solid, new capabilities layer on without a rewrite: smart search, automated reports, add-by-link parsing, or an AI assistant over your own data. eRENTAL got exactly this treatment — smart search and AI features added on top of the existing admin.
